Sometimes simplicity reveals some of the most complicated details. The shot is great! And while I can't put my finger on one particular evoked emotion, I know that I like it. The way the leaves are reverse-cupping the knot in the plank makes for a shining composition of elements. Especially the textures; they all seem to have their own distinct patterns.

cool concept when i first saw the thumbnail i thought that they were goldfish .. to my relief they aren't.

great detail...the colors really gives one the sense of decay...both in the leaves and the boards...very nicely done.

ok, i'll try!

description: "i was walking around my porch when i found these cool leaves. i said to myself "self, you should take a picture of these cool leaves and post it on DA" so i ran inside and grabbed my camera and then took the picture, wondering all along weather it would come out. Lo and behold, i have an awesome photo! the complicated grains on the wood are really cool, and the reflective symetery shape of the leaves are awesome. I like the way i cropped the photo too"
